Due to recent social distancing measures, valet parking is not currently available but may become available once again in the near future. And, of course, from either The Venetian or Wynn you can enjoy the other property quite easily with just a short walk. When it comes to a prime location, the middle area of the Strip is often considered to be the best due to the large concentration of casinos and resorts in the area.
Probably the easiest way to picture where the Wynn and Venetian are located, as well as see the surrounding properties is to download our free printable Strip map here. When most people think of entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip, they think of the visual spectacles and sounds that come with Las Vegas shows. While not having multiple shows as some of the other resorts on the Strip do, The Venetian and Wynn each have some very worthwhile entertainment options.
Brand new at The Venetian is the variety show Atomic Saloon. Set in an old west saloon, the show includes an overriding storyline but also includes singing, acrobatics, and comedy routines that will leave you laughing for hours. Wynn Las Vegas frequently books artists and entertainers of all types in its lavish theater. This aquatic-themed show features stunning acrobatics with themes that represent the tranquility of water and the mysteries of dreams. Words cannot do the show justice; it has to be seen to be believed.
Along with the refined accommodations and atmosphere, the Wynn and The Venetian are both home to an incredible array of casual and fine dining choices. While the more casual choices include Allegro, Red 8, and The Buffet. In addition to the restaurants, each resort is home to a large selection of sophisticated bars and lounges. Both resorts have stunning pools to choose from, but the Venetian Pool Deck combined with the pool complex at its connected sister resort the Palazzo, is truly a sight to behold.
Together they put 11 pools at your disposal. The pools range from 1 foot deep for sitting and soaking to full-size pools for swimming. Each pool is as luxurious as the hotel itself and many guests move from pool to pool throughout the day following the sun. Wynn Las Vegas features four pools that prioritize a classic, outdoor pool setting with private cabanas and servers who are ready to meet all of your requests. The pools are surrounded by manicured gardens and provide an ultra-luxe experience.
Although The Venetian has more pools to choose from, both resorts will top your expectations for a relaxing poolside lounge. You can spend days wandering from resort to resort and casino to casino and never get bored. A five- to minute walk through the Palazzo's haute-couture shopping mall leads to the Venetian's lower-end retail and Grand Canal Shoppes, where plenty of Palazzo guests head to take an atmospheric gondola ride.
The Palazzo is located on the happening north end of the Strip, between the Venetian and the Wynn. The hotel is also across the street from Treasure Island and Palazzo guests seem to have the best view of the pirates extravaganza from the balcony of LAVO. Most Las Vegas visitors want to explore all of the big properties along the densely packed, three-and-a-half-mile-long stretch of hotel-casinos known as the Strip.
Cabs are easy to find at virtually any time of day or night. A generally less expensive option is the Deuce, a double-decker bus that runs up and down the strip 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you're traveling along the Strip with at least one other person, a cab is often the least expensive option. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also economical options. The Palazzo and its sister hotel, the Venetian have extremely large standard rooms, each containing a bedroom and a sunken living room with L-shaped sofas that open up to full-size beds. Art Deco-inspired touches in lamps, dressers, and the crushed-velvet couches add to the luxurious and tasteful ambience.
The comfy king- and queen-size pillow-top beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets and topped with wool throws. Rooms also feature three flat-screen TVs: a inch in the living room, a inch in the bedroom, and a inch in the bathroom.
Each offers about 40 channels, but no HBO, and a wide selection of films on demand. The bathrooms -- which, at square feet, are larger than some New York City hotel rooms -- come with showers, separate deep soaking tubs and twin sink basins, plenty of soft towels, and quality bath products. If all this luxury doesn't cut it, or you need some extra space, guests can book a square-foot Fortuna Suite or 1,square-foot Siena Suite, both with Italian marble foyers.
The Palazzo and Venetian have 10 pools between them, with the separate pool decks connected via a pedestrian walkway. Select pools are kept open during the fall and winter months. The elegant pools are laid-back and have ample loungers, plus cabanas for rent. Poolside drink and food service is available. Adults may want to head over to the TAO Beach day club, which is for a and-over crowd and allows topless sunbathing on select days. The world-famous Canyon Ranch Spa offers more than the usual range of spa services.
A pricey day pass buys access to "Aquavana," which includes the Herbal Laconium a warm, ceramic-tiled room with individual thrones and color-changing ceiling , the Hydro Spa a fancy name for a hot tub , a Finnish sauna, the Igloo the opposite of a sauna , Experiential Rains showers with new-agey names like "Cool Fog," "Tropical Rain," and "Caribbean Storm" , and other highfalutin features. One warning: the spa, especially the facilities for women, can get crowded.
Guests may upgrade to concierge-level rooms, which buys them access to an exclusive 23rd-floor lounge with free amenities like a continental breakfast, snacks, and early-evening cocktails. The cost to upgrade depends on the availability of rooms, which dictates the nightly rate. The casino at the Palazzo is somewhat smaller and more intimate than most of the mega-property casinos, and the staff is more attentive.
It offers different table games and countless slot machines, but no poker room. For that, you have to go next door to the Venetian. Medium-rollers take note, the Palazzo does not provide comps to gamblers who are not shelling out the big bucks. That means no entertainment discounts or free rooms, food, and beverages.
Wolfgang Puck. Emeril Lagasse. Thomas Keller. These are just a few of the chefs who helm a restaurant or two at the Palazzo, and the property has a couple dozen restaurants in all.
Of course, guests of the Palazzo can eat at any of the eateries at the Venetian. Meals at all restaurants at both properties -- except for the food court -- can be charged to a room.
Several casual options and an extensive hour rooms service menu provide more dining options. Like most other hotels on the strip, the Palazzo offers high-quality entertainment and plenty of things to do on-site. The hotel is home to several shows of performing artists and TAO Nightclub, where well-known DJs and celebrities often make appearances.
But for the family that plans to explore the Strip as a whole, the Palazzo would be an excellent choice -- if only for the huge, suite-style standard rooms, which are the largest on the Strip and feature couches that pull out into beds. Rollaway beds are also available for an additional nightly fee though the hotel allows them only in rooms larger than the standard Luxury Suites. Cribs are also available at no extra cost.
The design is immaculate with a clean, modern palette and smart-enabled features that only add to an air of sophistication. Since then, the hotel's reputation has only continued to grow as one of the best on the Strip with world-class resort amenities, dining, gambling, and entertainment.
There's a reason it's consistently rated as one of the best places to stay in Vegas and if you can secure a good deal, this might be one of the best places to book. Book the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. Travelers accustomed to the highest level of hospitality book this five-star property known for immaculate service and spacious rooms that start at square feet with extravagant soaking tubs. With no casino on-site, it's another great option when you prefer a more blissful stay.
If you come to Vegas for luxe spas, pools, and dining, this is a great bet. Book The Palazzo at The Venetian. While The Venetian is perhaps more well-known, and cheaper, consider a stay at its sister property, The Palazzo.
Newer and more low-key but equally refined, even The Palazzo's standard rooms are dubbed Luxury Suites and are not only more up-to-date than entry-level Venetian offerings but significantly larger. Spread out with ample living spaces, plush bedding, sleek bathrooms, and relish in the fact that your room is just steps from tons of the Strip's best attractions, plus all that the Venetian has to offer.
The Cosmopolitan is trendy, hip, and sophisticated, and generally feels like you're hanging out inside a chandelier likely why they have a bar named after one. It's a favorite among those visiting Las Vegas who want to join in on nightlife action over betting at tables, though the latter is readily available too. Plus, it's one of the few hotels with balconies — request one facing Bellagio for a great view of the fountain show.
A member of the Autograph Collection of hotels, it's also a great way for Marriott Bonvoy members to earn and redeem points. Book here if you're looking to blur the lines between a glam getaway and a healthy dose of revelry. The Four Seasons is a symbol of luxury and one that often comes with an accompanying high price tag. Rooms feel like a scintillating oasis of luxury, cocooned away from the frenetic pace of the Strip, though, it's right there when you choose to seek it out.
There's a private, tranquil pool area for Four Seasons guests only, plus all the perks and indulgent attention to detail you'd expect from a Four Seasons. Las Vegas is located in the southern tip of the state of Nevada, near the borders of both California and Arizona. You'll often find the cheapest hotel prices in Las Vegas midweek in summer, when scorching hot temperatures keep most travelers away, or in the winter, after New Year's Day, when it's still too cool to hit the pool.
Once the temperatures turn milder, expect prices to rise. Much of Las Vegas tourism also revolves around an annual convention calendar, which often drives up hotel prices. Holidays also see an influx of crowds. Because Vegas resorts make most of their profits on the casino floor, cheap room rates are intended to attract guests who will then spend their extra money on slots and tables. As Las Vegas is located in a desert climate, you can expect hot, hot summers and cool winters.
No matter when you visit, it's likely to be chilly at night. Early winter and spring, however, offer the nicest, mildest weather when it will be the most comfortable to stroll the Las Vegas Strip or lounge at the pool. Though, if you're planning to spend most of your time indoors on the casino or convention floor, the weather likely won't be a big factor when considering the time of year to visit. However, the State of Nevada has mandated that everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings, including resorts and casinos, restaurants, bars, showrooms, and meeting spaces.
Masks are also required on public transportation. Large indoor events also have masks, testing, and vaccination requirements so check before arriving both with local Las Vegas mandates , the Nevada Health Response updates , as well as your individual hotel and destination.
